Legendary game designer Peter Molyneux has debuted his brand-new title, Masters of Albion, at Gamescom 2024.
The new title marks Molyneux’s return to PC and console. On stage, Molyneux cited his prior hits — Dungeon Keeper, Black & White and Fable — as inspiration for the upcoming game.
The title puts players in charge of shaping a town and its citizens. Players can switch between a god-like role, shaping everything from citizen’s diet environment, to inhabiting a citizen’s perspective in third person.
The studio behind Masters of Albion, 22cans, is self-funded by Molyneux and brings together 20 industry veterans.
