The WNBA Finals between the New York Liberty and the Minnesota Lynx head back to Minneapolis tied 1-1. Game 1 was the Courtney Williams game, as the Lynx overcame an 18-point deficit and stole a 95-93 overtime win. Game 2 was all Betnijah Laney-Hamilton, who exploded for a season-high 20 points to help give the Liberty an 80-66 edge.

If the Lynx and Liberty split those two games, New York will host a deciding Game 5 on Sunday, October 20th at Barclay’s Center. If either team wins both games in Minnesota, they’ll secure the 2024 WNBA Championship.
