Dupes in the perfume industry have grown, offering scents that resemble luxury fragrances at a lower cost.

Cosmetify has compiled a list of the most convincing and cost-effective dupes for 2024.

Coco Mademoiselle, Chanel

Dupe: Eau Nude, Next

For two decades, Chanel’s Coco Mademoiselle has been a timeless, iconic, feminine fragrance. Next has created a similar scent with notes of citrus, rose, and patchouli for $8 rather than $84.

Black Opium, Yves St Laurent

Dupe: Midnight Blossom, M&S

Priced at $10, M&S Midnight Blossom smells similar to YSL Classic with a blend of coffee, vanilla, and floral notes, making it an alternative that is 90% less than the original.

La Vie Est Belle, Lancôme

Dupe: Soleil, Next

Lancôme’s La Vie Est Belle is known for its sweet and sensual fragrance, with fruity and gourmand notes that appeal to younger and older generations.

Next’s Soleil fragrance has a blend of iris, jasmine, and vanilla that resembles the original.

Flowerbomb, Viktor & Rolf

Dupe: Floral Love, Aldi

Aldi has long been a leader in affordable alternatives within the food and drink sectors, but recently they’ve extended their dupe dominance to beauty and fragrances as well.
