The team also announced that Olave was confirmed to have a concussion and he does have movement in all of his extremities.
New Orleans Saints wide receiver Chris Olave has been taken off the field on a stretcher in Week 9 against the Carolina Panthers. Olave went across the middle of the field and took a big hit from safety Xavier Woods on an incompletion. Woods was flagged for unnecessary roughness on the hit.
Olave was initially motionless after the hit, but was able to move his extremities when he was placed on the stretcher and taken off on a cart. He was subsequently taken to a Charlotte hospital, per reporter Jeff Nowak. He reportedly lost consciousness at one point following the hit.
