DeMane Davis isn’t yet upset by the end of “Queen Sugar”

Director DeMane Davis is so busy that some things are still not fully sinking in.

Not to mention the fact that “Queen Sugar,” the OWN hit show she worked on, is ending its seventh season.

Davis, who directed the final two episodes of the series, stated that he was so involved in the episode that he hasn’t yet cried because it’s over in a recent interview. “I haven’t thought about what it would mean to not have “Queen Sugar” every week as part of our culture, as an example.

This series revolves around the fictional Bordelon family of Louisiana and has been revolutionary in many ways.

Ava DuVernay, creator and executive producer of the show, has included all female directors in the production.

Davis was hired to direct two episodes in the second season and was also the producing director for the third season.
