Architecture studio Akb Architects designed a cluster of silvered cedar buildings on Whistling Wind Island, a remote archipelago in Ontario, Canada, serving as a summer home for a kite surfer.

Commenters debated the project, with one praising it as a “masterful restraint of expression and fine execution,” while another described the site as “magical for anyone whose soul seeks poetry”.
