ELC Names Leadership for West Coast-Based Brands

Estée Lauder Companies has made leadership changes for its West-Cost Based Brands. This follows Tara Simon’s promotion to North American President and Mark Loomis’ upcoming retirement.

Somer Tejwani has been named Senior Vice President and Global Manager of Too Faced, and Michelle Shigemasa has been appointed SVP and Global General Manager of Glamglow and Smashbox Cosmetics.

Tejwani and Shigemasa will assume their roles in January 2025. This is part of ELC’s large strategy for a smooth transition as the company prepares for CEO, Fabrizio Freda’s retirement.

Tejwani has been with Too Faced for 12 years, starting as the Director of Marketing in 2012. Before this promotion, Tejwani served as Vice President of Global Marketing for five years.

Shigemasa is an ex-Unilever Prestige executive, having served as the CEO of Murad. She also served as CEO of Shani Darden Skin Care and Ariana Grande’s r.e.m. beauty. Shigemasa is currently a member of the board of We Are The Board, a business and consulting company.
