The NFL is fully into October and we’re still seeing some wild results. Week 5 saw the 49ers and Seahawks get upset, while the Vikings and Chiefs remain the lone undefeated teams.
We now head into Week 6 with some notable teams on bye. The four teams sidelined into the weekend with the Chiefs, Rams, Dolphins, and Vikings all getting the weekend off. And another reminder that we have a London game at 9:30 a.m. ET on Sunday as the Bears face the Jaguars at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The upsets hurt me on my confidence picks this past week, but overall I had a solid Week 5 with my confidence picks. I was 1-2 with high confidence picks, but 5-0 with medium confidence picks, and 4-2 with low confidence picks. I’m back under .500 for my high confidence picks, but I’m moving further north of .500 on medium and low confidence picks.
Here’s my full list of picks for Week 6. A game with three asterisks (***) after it indicates a game where I’m picking the betting underdog to get the win. I’ve got five underdogs winning outright this week, but we’ll also see how the lines move. It’s possible one or more of these underdogs are favorites by kickoff.
High confidence (8-9)
Eagles over Browns
Texans over Patriots
Medium confidence (24-11)
49ers over Seahawks
Ravens over Commanders
Packers over Cardinals
Falcons over Panthers
Bills over Jets
Low confidence (15-12)
Jaguars over Bears***
Buccaneers over Saints
Titans over Colts
Chargers over Broncos
Steelers over Raiders
Cowboys over Lions
Bengals over Giants
