Dezeen Showroom: multiple spray modes and ambient colour-changing light characterise this range of showers by designer Roberto Palomba for bathroom brand Ideal Standard.
Produced by Ideal Standard – a sub-brand of German manufacturer Villeroy & Boch – Solos showers feature a ring-shaped colour-changing light integrated into a large, circular shower head, the colour of which can be changed by the user.
The shower system provides “a spa-like experience” thanks to its intuitive controls and multiple spray modes. Among the mode options is the silk rain jet, which generates a continuous sheet of water.
Both the overhead shower and handheld shower head can be operated independently, and are designed to be used in tandem with other Ideal Standard products.
The shower range is available in classic chrome as well as a selection of durable PVD coating including silver storm, magnetic grey and brushed gold.
